Have a request for a book? Requst a book here (no registration is required to post!).
THIS SITE IS NOT INTENDED FOR THE PIRATING OF BOOKS. This site is provided to allow persons who have legally purchased these books but are unable to place them on their devices for what-ever reason (DRM, format-compatibility issues, etc). I am unsure as to the legality of "if you purchased the paper version of a book, can you expect to have the ebook for free?", so download at your own risk. Support the authors and purchase the books LEGALLY

If you are getting the following error when trying to download:
"Failed to download and import 'name of book': Failed writing downloaded book date to: /private/var/mobile/Applications/DAECF0C3-4544-4AB7-A31D-245111846B63/tmp/Downloads/download-1"

I implemented a better Downloads-Per-Day error reporting method. It's not perfect, but it is an improvement.
Basically, as the catalog is served up to your device it'll check how many downloads you have against you. Once you reach the limit you will be taken to a generic warning page whenever you try to download a book. You will still see everything in the catalog when you reach the limit, so don't worry.
When this WONT work:
-Whenever you try to download ALL the books from a single listing (for instance all "A" books by title)

Ok, let me preface this by stating "This isn't to call anyone out". I have just been noticing a trend and want to address it so that, as a community, we can have a collective understanding of how things work here.
Please read on after the break....

UPDATE: 3 Nov 09 - If you have tried to download a book for the first time each day and get the red "!" (fail) icon when attempting to download a book, this has been corrected. Poor programming on my part :)
I have instituted a 10 download-per-day limit for books. Hopefully this will help keep the catalog open and downloads available. You will know when you have reached the limit because instead of getting the book, a red "!" icon will pop up next to your selection.
